Foundations (Infant-14 mo.)-Fridays 11:30-12:15 (at Dance Ally)
Having a new baby, bonding with them and researching how to best guide them can be overwhelming. This is why we spend our class time participating in activities which provide a restful and safe environment where caregivers learn how to establish a strong foundation of learning and growing through the years. Digital at home materials will be provided for each family. As these babies near one year of age they will become stronger, more alert, and more curious. They will soon be ready for Kindermusik Level 1!
Level 1 (Ages 1-2)-Fridays 10:30-11:15 (at Dance Ally)
In Level 1 we use instruments, our voices, and our bodies to help the students learn as they discover new communication skills, how things work, and develop physical skills such as walking and jumping. Guidance, explanations, and information are offered to the caregiver as they are their child's primary educator. Caregivers can find understanding, wisdom, and affirmation in our class community! After reaching 24 months, most students will become more independent and socially active. These are some of the developmental milestones that will usher them into Kindermusik Level 2 with ease.
Level 2 (18 months-3)-Tuesdays 10:30-11:15 (at Dance Ally)
Level 2 (Ages 2-4)-Fridays 4:30-5:15 (at Discovery Village)
In Level 2, we get really energetic! Two year olds are on the move and will better learn how to predict patterns, improve physical balance and coordination, and exercise greater self-control. We do this through means of music, movement, story-telling, pretend play, and more! Caregivers will find comfort in recognizing the normalcy of his/her child's developmental stage and establish deeper connections as their children begin to socialize in a brand new way.
Level 4-Fridays 3:30-4:15 (at Discovery Village)
In Level 4 we introduce first experiences with musical symbols and more advanced instruments, laying the groundwork for formal music introduction and ensuring school readiness! As with all classes, we use developmentally appropriate practices to help children develop inhibitory control, thoughtfulness toward others, problem-solving skills, and much more. The first portion of class is kids only with caregivers joining for the last 10 minutes.
